I started writing articles in May, 2013. The first couple of articles written during the first months of this blog’s life were not very good. Things picked up when I started focusing only on Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager articles.
The following statistics are powered by the awesome Klipfolio data visualization tool. Sorry about the mobile experience. There’s only so much you can do with embeds.
The “User Read Rate” is the ratio of visitors who have scrolled to the bottom of the article out of all visitors, and the User Scroll rate is ratio of visitors who started scrolling an article. To measure these, I’m using a custom Enhanced Ecommerce setup. Yes, yes, I know. There’s no way to really know if someone is reading the articles just by looking at numbers like this, but it’s a close enough approximation.
